Thinking Back Two Years

It’s Sunday evening, the Patriots are already down two touchdowns to the Dolphins barely more than halfway through the first quarter, so I need a distraction. 🙂

Last night was the Annual Team Heirloom Dinner and I had SO MUCH FUN!

DoCo Axe Co, Cambridge, Maryland Dorchester County

Our first team dinner was here, at the house.

I cooked and said, “This is what I will be making in Heirloom Kitchen.”

Casey, Jason, Sean, Sue, Angie and Chris sat around my kitchen table and we talked through a power point that held my hopes and dreams for Heirloom.

They have been all in, in support of our every effort from before the beginning. To celebrate them only once a year isn’t nearly enough.

Also, when I scroll through the photo archives, this is the only photo I have from January 3, 2020, the day of that first dinner. Hahahaha

I was cooking, and unfortunately didn’t even think to take a picture.

Everyone helped pack the swag bags that we gave out during our Opening Day WOD.

And I did a lot of talking.

Some things haven’t changed. 🙂

This is the second slide from the power point.

This is the 2022 version of that same slide.

It really is that simple. But it is in no way easy.

And the pursuit of it makes us all better.

To be supported by people who are at the top of their game, it’s what makes Heirloom what it is.

Here are are few more fun pics from January 2020.

Two years ago.

January. 2020.

Pre-COVID.

PRE-COVID!! Those times feel forever away ago and, somehow, just yesterday, all at the same time.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of these last two years.

The pleasure has absolutely been, all mine.

The Patriots are now down by 17 to start the 4th quarter.

Happy Sunday, friends. See you in class.
